Reserve old goat cheese
Old reserve goat’s cheese is handmade with pasteurized goat’s milk. It has a minimum maturation of four months, achieving a rustic and flowery bark that gives it a subtle aroma of farmhouse cellar mushrooms. This natural bark is thin and smooth offering personality and rusticity, which can be recognized in every slice. This cheese embodies all our tradition through an artisanal process that allows us to obtain a brittle goat’s cheese where notes of dried fruits. Ideal for good cheese lovers. One of the most traditional Catalan goat cheeses in our territory.

The milk used in the artisanal preparation of this semi-mature goat cheese comes from our own herd and from local farms. Muntanyola opts for producing high-quality gourmet cheeses, selecting producers committed to milk quality, animal welfare, organic farming or local consumption.
Pairing: Old reserve goat cheese is rich in nuances and flavors. This goat cheese pairs perfectly with red wine and craft beer thanks to its brittle texture and intense dry flavor. Ideal for aperitifs, charcuterie boards and starters.
